Frequently Asked Questions

What do you do exactly ?

We work with couples from all over who are looking for a spiritual wedding ceremony that is intimate, meaningful and unique that reflects the essence of their relationship and individual personalities and officiate ceremonies in and near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Montana, Wyoming

and Idaho.

If we are not officiating the ceremony, we coach their chosen Officiant who will perform their ceremony.

We have created and officiated hundreds of ceremonies over the last two decades for Large Formal Weddings, Small Intimate Weddings, Romantic Elopements, Re-Affirmation Ceremonies and Commitment Ceremonies.

What does your service include ?

Creating Your Ceremony:  Our service includes an initial wedding ceremony interview, a customized draft of your ceremony, unlimited re-writes of your ceremony and your final ceremony document.

Officiating Your Ceremony:  Our service includes officiating your ceremony in and near Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho.

Ceremony Consultation:  For weddings outside our service area or if you have already chosen your officiant, our service includes a telephone consultation with you and with your Officiant who will be performing your ceremony.  If you have not already done so, we will assist you in selecting the perfect Officiant.

What is the process ?

We begin with an initial wedding ceremony interview and build the first draft of your ceremony based on your specifications.

We encourage you to write your own vows in your own words and speak to each other from your hearts. We also encourage you to include family members and/or friends in your ceremony to offer a special reading, poem or prayer.

We include unlimited re-writes to allow time to fine-tune the ceremony and to give you time to write your own vows.  Once you have given the ceremony your final blessing, we create the final document.

How long does it take ?

That depends on how much time you need to customize your ceremony and to write your vows. If you have the time, take all the time you need and complete the process at least thirty days prior to your wedding day.  If we need to, we can turn a ceremony around in a couple of weeks.  If you have special needs and require a quick turn-around, we can usually accommodate your schedule.

Do we have to write our own vows ?

No.  If you are not comfortable writing your own vows, standard wedding vows will be included in the first draft of your ceremony.  Some couples don't make any changes to the first draft and love the ceremony just as it is written.

How long is the ceremony ?

Typically the ceremony with all of the components is approximately twenty minutes long.  Depending on your specifications, the ceremony is usually between fifteen and thirty minutes long.  Some couples want something really short and simple and some large formal weddings may be a bit longer.

We are from different faiths, can we include traditions from both ?

Absolutely.  The blending of the traditions from each of your faiths will create a beautiful Interfaith Ceremony that represents your individual beliefs merging in perfect harmony.

We've decided to elope, can you help us ?

With the skyrocketing cost of weddings not to mention the stress involved in planning a large wedding, it's no wonder that many couples are choosing to elope.  We love romantic elopements and have lots of experience with them.

We can help you create a beautiful, meaningful, private, intimate ceremony for your elopement.  You may want to re-affirm your vows later with family and friends with a Re-Affirmation Ceremony and celebration using the same ceremony with just a few changes.

We've been married for twenty years and want to re-new our vows. What would you recommend ?

We recommend a Re-Affirmation Ceremony celebrating your marriage, relationship, commitment and love for one another re-affirming the vows that you exchanged twenty years ago. We really encourage you to include family in this ceremony and you may have as many family members as you wish share in officiating, giving each member a different component or reading.  Since a marriage license will not be required, your Officiant(s) will not have to be ordained.

What do you cover in the telephone consultation ?

We'll answer any questions that you and/or your Officiant may have regarding your ceremony.  We will review the entire ceremony with you from the beginning to the end, rehearsing each component assuring each one flows smoothly into the next.  Your Officiant will be coached on every detail of your ceremony so they will perform your ceremony better than one of our experienced professional Officiants since they have a close personal relationship with you.

How much does it cost ?

Our fee is affordable and we will quote you a price based on your individual needs.
